About
Ak-Tyuz is a small ski base in the Kemin District of Kyrgyzstan's Chuy region, about 140 km from Bishkek. A single fixed two-seat chairlift and one surface lift serve roughly 500 meters of vertical between 2,300 and 2,800 meters, with mostly ungroomed slopes left for freeriding and ski touring. The 1,700-meter chairlift opens the upper bowl, and stable early-season snow gives a long touring window.
