About
Alpe Devero is a small ski area on a high plateau in Italy's Piedmont region, inside the Alpe Veglia and Alpe Devero Natural Park. Three lifts reach about 8 kilometres of mostly easy and intermediate slopes between 1,640 and 2,240 metres, a drop of roughly 600 metres. Cars are barred from the stone-roofed village, and the protected setting draws ski tourers and cross-country skiers as much as lift-served traffic.
