Ashikuraji (芦峅寺スキー場) is a historic, non-operational ski area in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Ski operations are not active. Ashikuraji is a former ski area in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, about 20 km from central Toyama City. It opened in 1983, ran two short lifts over a roughly 170 m vertical drop, and closed in March 2004; since 2013 the base area has been used as a training facility for snowboarding and freestyle ski jumping (later associated with Toyama KINGS).
