Birao (ビラオスキー場) is a historic, non-operational ski area in Hokkaido, Japan. Ski operations are not active. Birao was a ski area on the eastern slopes of Mt Birao near central Teshikaga Town in eastern Hokkaido, Japan. With origins around 1946, it grew to three lifts (a triple, a pair and a single) serving 11 courses and about 380 m of vertical with night skiing, before closing in 2008.
