About
Camurac is the only ski station in France's Aude department, on the northern edge of the Pyrenees. Drag lifts serve 11 alpine runs between 1,550 and 1,800 meters, a vertical of 250 meters, backed by 25 snow cannons and two cross-country loops. It opened in 1964, and although the village is in the Aude, most of the slopes lie across the line in neighboring Ariege.
