About
Candy Mountain Ski Area is a historic, non-operational ski area in Ontario, United States. Ski operations are not active. Candy Mountain was a ski area near Thunder Bay (Neebing), Ontario, Canada, opened in 1972 and once home to one of Ontario's longest chairlifts. Amid an oversaturated local ski market, it closed in 2002 when its owner consolidated operations at nearby Loch Lomond; the former base building became a private home and the land was rezoned residential.
