About
Hakuba Valley is an umbrella of ten linked ski areas spread around Hakuba village in Nagano, on the eastern edge of the Northern Japan Alps. A single pass covers roughly 200 runs and about 135 lifts across the separate resorts, among them Happo-One, Hakuba 47, Goryu and Tsugaike, with annual snowfall near 11 meters. Happo-One hosted the alpine events of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, including the men's downhill.
