Harayama Shimin was a small beginner-oriented municipal ski area near central Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, with a roughly 110-metre vertical drop and two lifts. Skiing took place at the site from the 1920s and a lift was installed in 1963; the area closed in 2008 after about 45 years, and the slope is now a maintained park and recreation area with the lifts removed.
