About
Hohentauern is a family ski area in the Murtal district of Styria, Austria, where the first lift was built in 1949. Six lifts serve about 11 km of slopes over roughly 490 metres of vertical between 1,241 and 1,734 metres, most of it intermediate terrain. A ski school and rental shop sit at the base, and the high, open setting gives it reliable snow cover into late March.
