About
Ještěd is a ski area on the mountain of the same name above Liberec in the north of the Czech Republic. Ten lifts, including a cable car, serve about 460 metres of vertical and 10.6 kilometres of slopes between 530 and 929 metres. Its summit is crowned by the hyperboloid Ještěd Tower, a 1973 hotel and TV transmitter that is a national landmark.
