Johira (城平スキー場) is a historic, non-operational ski area in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Ski operations are not active. Joudaira (recorded here as Johira) was a beginner-oriented ski area in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, only about a 5-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station. It opened in 1956 with two single lifts and offered night skiing, and is believed to have closed in the early 1990s; all lifts have since been removed.
