About
Khaliya Top is a high alpine meadow above Munsiyari in the Kumaon Himalaya of Uttarakhand, used for skiing from December to February. There are no lifts; skiers walk in, roughly 6 kilometers from Balati Bend on the Munsiyari road, to reach open snow slopes topping out near 3,500 meters. A guest house about 2 kilometers below the summit is the only base, and the meadow looks straight across at the Panchachuli peaks.
