About
Las Araucarias is a ski center on the flank of the Llaima volcano in Chile's Araucanía region, inside Conguillío National Park. One chairlift and three surface lifts serve about 15 kilometers of runs between roughly 1,550 and 1,950 meters, mixing easy lower slopes with a few steeper pitches up top. The araucaria forests that ring the area and the active volcano beneath it set it apart from any other field in the country.
