About

Las Leñas lies in the Andes of Mendoza, Argentina, one of South America's premier resorts and a former host of the Winter Pan American Games. Lifts climb from 2,240 to 3,430 meters, a vertical drop near 1,200 meters, but the real draw is the off-piste: the Marte chair opens onto thousands of acres of steep, ungroomed terrain. Thirty marked trails and a few terrain parks serve the rest, with lodging, dining and a ski school at the base.
