About
Les Arcs is a set of purpose-built, ski-in ski-out villages in the Tarentaise valley of Savoie, France, joined with Peisey-Vallandry on its western, tree-lined flank. The local terrain runs to about 200 kilometers of piste and tops out at the Aiguille Rouge at 3,226 meters, from which a black run drops more than 2,000 meters over 7 kilometers to Villaroger. The Vanoise Express links it to La Plagne to form the Paradiski area, and the resort has long hosted speed-skiing on its Flying Kilometre course.
