Loser sits above Altaussee in the Salzkammergut region of Styria, Austria. Eight lifts serve 34 km of pistes between 850 and 1,800 metres, most of it gentle blue and red runs with a single short black. The Loser panorama road climbs to the lift base in summer, and the area is known for easy off-piste skiing in the bowl below the Loser peak.
