Malo Polje is a small alpine ski slope on Mount Igman above Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, built for the 1984 Winter Olympics and still run by the Olympic legacy company ZOI'84. The area spans 1,160 to 1,492 meters elevation, a 332 meter (1,089 foot) vertical drop, served by a double chair and several rope tows for beginners and ski schools. Nearby, the Olympic ski jump hills where Matti Nykanen set a world record before 90,000 spectators sat abandoned and scarred by Siege of Sarajevo fighting for decades.
