Manning Park Resort operates on Blackwall Peak in E.C. Manning Provincial Park, along Highway 3 in the Cascade Mountains of southern British Columbia. The hill rises from a 4,452 foot base to a 5,869 foot summit, a 1,417 foot vertical drop, spread across 34 runs served by five lifts, including a 1967-era double chair. The park opened to vehicles with the 1949 completion of the Hope-Princeton Highway, and the ski hill shifted from provincial to private operation in 1986 under a fifty year land use permit.
