About
Monschau-Rohren is a historic, non-operational ski area in Germany. Ski operations are not active. Monschau-Rohren was a small ski lift area built by the town of Monschau in 1971 in the Eifel hills of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, complemented by a summer bobsled run from 1978. Located too low for reliable snow and needing costly renovation, both the ski lift and bobsled run were permanently shut down at the end of 2017; the facility remains closed and fenced off.
