Akabirayama (Mount Akabira) was a ski area in the southern part of Akabira City in central Hokkaido, Japan, known for a steep 42-degree wall slope, a ski jump and even a steam-engine feature. With roughly 277 m of vertical and four lifts, it closed in 2004 and is no longer in operation.
