About
Narvikfjellet rises straight out of the town of Narvik in Arctic Norway, well above the Arctic Circle. Six lifts and a gondola serve about 13 km of slopes and a vertical drop near 870 metres, from a 1,006-metre top to a 136-metre base on the fjord, one of the largest verticals in the country. Narvik will host the 2029 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, with runs ending in sight of the harbour.
