About

Norus sits in the Alamedin Gorge about 35 kilometers south of Bishkek, in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy Region. Three surface lifts serve roughly 2 kilometers of runs across a 330 meter drop, from 1,920 meters at the base to 2,250 meters up top. The Kyrgyz presidential administration owns the place, and little has been spent on it since a 2001 renovation whose restaurant terrace later burned down.
