About
Oberwald - Hungerberg is a historic, non-operational ski area in Switzerland. Ski operations are not active. Hungerberg above Oberwald in the Goms valley of Valais, Switzerland, was a small ski area with a 1974 two-seat chairlift and two drag lifts. The lifts have been out of operation since 2009 for lack of renovation funds; the operating company was liquidated and the installations were dismantled, and a later replacement-gondola project failed for lack of financing.
