About
Potawatomi is a historic, non-operational ski area in Wisconsin, United States. Ski operations are not active. Potawatomi State Park near Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, had a downhill ski hill developed in 1941 and run for public recreation by the volunteer Potawatomi Ski Club. The ski hill closed after the 1997-1998 season due to mild winters and a shortage of volunteers; the location is now marked by the park's Old Ski Hill Overlook.
