About
Prat Peyrot is a ski station on the slopes of Mont Aigoual in the Cevennes, straddling the Lozere and Gard departments of southern France, and is the only ski area in Gard. The alpine domain runs from 1,200 to 1,567 meters, a vertical drop of roughly 350 meters, spread across 9 km of downhill runs plus 60 km of cross-country trails. The station sits inside Cevennes National Park atop Mont Aigoual, the second-highest peak of the Cevennes after Mont Lozere.
