About
Predigtstuhl (Bad Reichenhall) is a historic, non-operational ski area in Germany. Ski operations are not active. Predigtstuhl above Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria, was a small ski area with up to three chairlifts that closed to skiing in 1994; the slopes are now used by ski tourers, winter hikers and snowshoers. The historic Predigtstuhlbahn cable car, opened in 1928 and the world's oldest original large-cabin cable car, still operates as a nostalgia and sightseeing lift.
