About
Raging Buffalo Snowboard Ski Park is a historic, non-operational ski area in Illinois, United States. Ski operations are not active. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Ski Park in Algonquin, Illinois opened in 1993 on the former Buffalo Park ski hill and was billed as one of the first snowboard-focused areas in the country. It took a hiatus for the 2018-19 season and its management permanently ceased for-profit operations afterward; the Kane County Forest Preserve site later continued only as a no-frills snow hill.
