About
San Simone was a small ski area in Italy's Orobie Alps, above the village of Valleve in the Alta Val Brembana, roughly 100 km northeast of Milan. Its slopes ran between about 1,635 and 2,163 meters below Monte Pegherolo, offering roughly 12 km of runs, mostly red and black graded, once linked by chairlift to the larger Foppolo-Carona sector. San Simone's own lifts shut down in 2017, leaving its runs unserved while Foppolo and Carona continue to operate as the combined Brembo Ski resort.
