About
Schilpario is a small ski area in the Val di Scalve, in the Province of Bergamo, Lombardy. Its alpine side is modest, a short lift-served pitch above the village near 1,135 m, but the valley is best known for cross-country skiing on the Pista degli Abeti, a loop of more than 10 km through pine forest. The municipality has run winter sport here since the area was founded in 1959.
