About
Sljeme is the ski area on Medvednica, the mountain above Zagreb, roughly 19 kilometers from the city center. Its lifts serve about 4 kilometers of runs across a 300 meter vertical, from 730 up to 1,030 meters. The black run, Crveni Spust, hosts the Snow Queen Trophy World Cup slalom, and since February 2022 a 5 kilometer gondola has climbed the mountain, replacing the 1963 cable car that shut in 2007.
