Steinplatte - Winklmoosalm is a cross-border ski area linking Waidring in Tyrol, Austria with Winklmoosalm at Reit im Winkl in Bavaria, Germany. Fourteen lifts serve about 42 km of pistes, rising from 740 m to roughly 1,860 m for a vertical of about 1,120 m. The mountain is a Triassic-era fossil reef, and its Triassic Parc displays fossilized corals and ammonites alongside a larch-wood panorama platform.
