About
Tavascan, marketed as Pleta del Prat, is one of the smallest ski areas in the Catalan Pyrenees, set in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park above Lladorre in Pallars Sobirà. Its terrain runs between about 1,712 and 2,197 m, roughly 5 to 6 km of slopes spread over green, blue, red and black runs served by a chairlift, a drag lift and a magic carpet. Alpine skiing has been practiced here since 1991, and the resort doubles as a base for ski touring in the surrounding natural park.
