The Pines was a large Borscht Belt resort in South Fallsburg, New York, that added a ski chalet and double chairlift by 1965, said to be the first chairlift in the southern Catskills. The resort closed permanently in late 1998 and its buildings, including the ski facilities, have since stood abandoned.
