Ukawa was a small local ski area in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, that opened in 1969 with a single rope tow and three short runs (about 35 meters vertical). It operated for 30 years and closed after a farewell festival on 7 March 1999; the site has since been reclaimed by nature.
