Otome Kogen (translated here as Virgin Plateau) was a ski area in Makioka, now part of Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, and is regarded as the prefecture's first official ski area, opening in 1951. A T-bar lift was added in 1975 and the area closed around 2000; the meadow site is preserved and used for nature activities rather than the multi-lift full-service resort described in the old text.
