About
Vogel is a ski area above Lake Bohinj in northwestern Slovenia, inside Triglav National Park. A gondola lifts skiers from the valley to terrain spread between about 1,535 and 1,800 m, served by nine lifts over roughly 22 km of runs. Because the park bans snowmaking, the season rides entirely on natural snow, and in deep years the Žagarjev graben descent runs about 7.5 km, the longest slope in the country.
