About
Warner Canyon Ski Area sits in the Warner Mountains of south-central Oregon, about four miles northeast of Lakeview. A single triple chairlift climbs from a base of 5,700 feet to a 6,480-foot summit, a 780-foot vertical drop over 21 trails split between advanced, intermediate, and beginner terrain. Operating since 1938, the hill is run by the nonprofit Fremont Highlanders Ski Club on land now owned by Lake County after a 1998 swap with the U.S. Forest Service.
