Werfenweng is a family ski resort in the Pongau region of Austria's Salzburger Land, about 45 kilometres south of Salzburg. It has 29 kilometres of groomed pistes served by nine lifts, including the IKARUS eight-seat gondola, between elevations of 902 and 1,834 metres. The area is mostly red and blue runs and is known for its quiet, family-oriented terrain.
