Amihari is a small ski area in Iwate Prefecture, on the western side of Mount Iwate in northern Honshu. It runs about 710 metres of vertical served by just 4 lifts, drawing heavy Tohoku snowfall onto a mix of groomed runs and tree terrain. The resort is operated by Kyukamura, the Japanese national-park lodge chain, with a hot-spring base lodge.
