About
Budoh Snow Resort is a small ski area on Route 7 in the former Asahi village, now part of Murakami city, the northernmost ski area in Niigata Prefecture. Two double chairlifts climb from 150 m to 650 m and serve five courses, including a 2.7 km run and an ungroomed zone, with views over the Sea of Japan. The city closed the hill in March 2025 after 37 seasons, and Tokyo IT firm Think First reopened it under the new name on January 1, 2026.
