Etna South sits above Nicolosi on the southern slope of Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, in Sicily. Five lifts climb from about 1,910 metres, with a cable car and snowcat carrying skiers toward the summit craters near 2,600 metres for roughly 700 metres of vertical on solidified lava.
