About
Fukui Izumi is a ski area in Ono, Fukui Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan side of the Hokuriku region. Two lifts, a hooded high-speed quad and a pair lift, serve six courses over a 300 meter vertical between 600 and 900 meters, with a longest run of 1,500 meters. It opened in December 1990 under the Ohmi Railway and still runs on natural snow alone, with no snowmaking and no night skiing.
