About
Hida Hoonokidaira is a ski area on the Gifu side of Mount Norikura, in Nyukawa, Takayama City, Japan. Fifteen courses and four lifts cover ground between 1,250 and 1,550 meters, giving a 300 meter vertical, a longest run of 2,000 meters and pitches reaching 42 degrees. In summer the base becomes the bus terminal for the Norikura Skyline, the road up to Tatamidaira.
