About
L'areilladou is a historic, non-operational ski area in France. Ski operations are not active. L'Areilladou was a small, low-cost family ski station at Mezilhac in the Ardeche, France, opened in 1963 with a lift rising to about 1,400 metres. Losing money with very short snow seasons, it closed permanently around 2008, and the site was later repurposed for outdoor tourism, with the former base now operating as the Chalet de l'Areilladou.
