About

Mt Lyford is a club-style alpine resort in Canterbury, New Zealand, on the eastern faces of the Seaward Kaikoura Range about two hours north of Christchurch. Six lifts, mostly T-bars, rope tows and platters, cover 180 hectares with a vertical drop of 501 m across 20 trails. Skiers stay in log chalets and self-catering cabins at the base village rather than in a nearby town.
