About
The Remarkables is an NZSki field above Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown, on New Zealand's South Island, open through the Southern Hemisphere winter from June into October. It covers about 385 hectares between roughly 1,475 and 1,945 meters, a vertical near 470 meters, spread across several chairlifts and a wide bowl of groomed and freeride terrain. It is best known for its terrain parks, including the Burton Stash, the only Stash park in the Southern Hemisphere, built from natural wood features.
