About
Volen is a floodlit ski park near Yakhroma in Moscow Oblast, about 50 to 60 km north of the capital in a hilly area known locally as Moscow Switzerland. The complex covers a 70 meter vertical drop across 16 runs, the longest 450 meters, served by around seven main lifts plus several children's and baby lifts. Night skiing is standard across the park, and the site pairs its slopes with a tubing hill, a hotel complex, and a linked satellite area called Stepanovo.
