Wakabuna Kogen (わかぶな高原スキー場) is a historic, non-operational ski area in Japan. Ski operations are not active. Wakabuna Kogen was a ski resort in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, opened in 1987 with four lifts. Its last operating day was 21 March 2019; a planned 2019/20 reopening never happened, and all four lifts were removed in 2021-22, leaving it permanently closed.
