About
Wurmberg is the largest ski area in northern Germany, set above the resort town of Braunlage in the Harz mountains of Lower Saxony. Five lifts serve more than 13 kilometers of groomed piste across a vertical of about 400 meters, topping out near 970 meters. A six-seat gondola, the longest cable car in northern Germany, climbs to the summit in two sections in roughly 12 minutes.
