Abenaki Ski Area is a town-owned ski hill in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, in the state's Lakes Region. Seven trails from green to black drop 200 vertical feet, served by two lifts including one of the fastest rope tows on the East Coast, plus glade skiing and a terrain park. Cut in 1936 by the Abenaki Outing Club, it ranks among the oldest small ski areas in America and has been run by Wolfeboro's Parks and Recreation Department since the town bought it in 1978.
